By contacting, booking, or using any service provided by NV General Services ("we," "us," "our"), you agree to the following terms. These terms apply to all services rendered in Orlando, Orange County, and Central Florida.
NV General Services reserves the right to decline any service request at its sole discretion. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms do not create an employment or partnership relationship between NV General Services and any customer.
Information We Collect: When you use our contact form or call us, we collect your name, phone number, email address, service address, and job details. This information is used solely to provide and follow up on requested services.
How We Use Your Information: We use your contact information to schedule and confirm appointments, send quotes, and follow up on completed work. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Data Storage: Contact form submissions are processed through FormSubmit.co and delivered to our email. We retain customer contact information for operational and tax record-keeping purposes.
Cookies: This website does not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics beyond standard web hosting logs.
Your Rights: You may request deletion of your personal data by contacting us at [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.
Children's Privacy: Our services are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.
Non-Permit Work Only: All work performed by NV General Services is limited to non-permit handyman services as defined under Florida law. We do not perform work that requires a licensed contractor, licensed electrician, licensed plumber, or any other licensed trade professional under Florida Statutes.
Florida Handyman Threshold: In Florida, any single job or project valued at $1,000 or more in combined labor and materials typically requires a licensed contractor. NV General Services complies with this threshold. Jobs exceeding this threshold will be referred to appropriately licensed professionals.
Referrals: When a job requires a license or permit, we will inform you and can provide referrals to licensed contractors at no charge.
Geographic Limitations: Services are provided in Orlando, Orange County, and surrounding Central Florida areas. Travel fees may apply for locations outside our standard service area.
Written Quotes: A written estimate will be provided before any work begins. Work will not start until the customer approves the quoted price. Final pricing may vary from estimates if unforeseen conditions are discovered during the job โ we will communicate any changes before proceeding.
Minimum Charge: A $75 minimum charge applies to all service visits regardless of time spent on site.
Same-Day Service: Same-day and emergency service is available subject to emergency fees. Current emergency fee rates will be confirmed at time of booking.
Inspection Discount: When a repair is completed during the same visit as an inspection, the inspection fee is reduced to $25.
Multi-Service Discounts: Discounts may be applied when multiple services are booked in the same visit or through a recurring service plan. Discounts cannot be combined unless expressly stated.
Payment: Payment is due upon completion of work unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept cash, check, major credit/debit cards, and cryptocurrency (subject to applicable surcharges). Invoices are provided upon request.
Cryptocurrency Surcharge: Cryptocurrency payments are accepted with a 20โ50% surcharge applied to the total invoice to account for transaction fees and market volatility. The exact surcharge rate will be confirmed at the time of payment.
Senior & Veteran Discount: A 10% discount on labor applies to customers who are 65 years of age or older, or active duty or veteran U.S. military service members. Eligibility must be disclosed at the time of booking. This discount applies to labor costs only and cannot be combined with other promotions or multi-service discounts.
Customer Cancellations: We ask for at least 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may be subject to a trip fee to cover travel and scheduling costs.
NV General Services Cancellations: In the rare event we must cancel or reschedule, we will notify you as soon as possible and will not charge any fees. We will prioritize rescheduling at your earliest convenience.
No-Shows: If we arrive at a scheduled appointment and no one is present without prior notice, a trip fee may apply.
Insurance: NV General Services carries general liability insurance. Customers are encouraged to request proof of insurance prior to work beginning.
Pre-Existing Conditions: NV General Services is not responsible for pre-existing damage, defects, or conditions discovered during a service call. We will document and notify you of any such conditions before proceeding.
Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by Florida law, NV General Services' liability for any claim arising from services rendered shall not exceed the total amount paid for the specific service that is the subject of the claim.
Consequential Damages: NV General Services is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages including but not limited to loss of use, loss of income, or damage to contents not directly caused by our work.
Third-Party Products: We are not responsible for manufacturer defects in materials or products supplied by the customer. Warranties on parts and materials are subject to the original manufacturer's terms.
We stand behind our work. If you are not satisfied with a completed service, please contact us within 7 days of the service date. We will return to assess the issue and, if the problem is related to our workmanship, we will correct it at no additional charge.
This guarantee applies to labor performed by NV General Services and does not cover damage caused by misuse, normal wear and tear, pre-existing conditions, or third-party actions after our visit.
Bartering: Barter arrangements are accepted on a limited basis (maximum 3 per calendar month) for clients who genuinely cannot afford the quoted service price. The estimated fair market value of bartered items must be at least double the cost of the service rendered. Accepted items include electronics, computers, furniture, tools, and vehicles in working condition. All barter arrangements must be confirmed in advance. All barter income is reported per IRS rules.
Cryptocurrency: We accept cryptocurrency payments with a 20โ50% service surcharge applied to the total invoice. This surcharge accounts for transaction fees and market price volatility. Accepted coins and current wallet addresses must be confirmed directly with us before booking. All cryptocurrency income is reported per IRS rules.

Dispute Resolution: In the event of a dispute, we encourage customers to contact us directly first. We are committed to resolving issues promptly and fairly. If a dispute cannot be resolved directly, it shall be governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any legal proceedings shall be conducted in Orange County, Florida.
Governing Law: These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida without regard to conflict of law principles.
Severability: If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
